Do you want to be recognized? Treated as a person? Wouldn’t you like to be greeted not with a fake smile, but with a genuine personality?

“Treat others they way you would like to be treated.” - This sounds great and I’m totally on board with it. Although very difficult to do sometimes.

But I like these a bit better: “Your playing small does not serve the world.”

and

“And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others”

Next time you travel, next time you are in a crowd, next time you are unsure … stand out. Risk it. Show people how it is acceptable to act or to be.

I for one would be happy to see it. It’s people who are waiting to be liberated.
